Bryan is Chief Compliance Officer and Managing Director, Legal, and a member of the Investment Committee. He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s compliance and legal functions. Prior to joining Jadian, Bryan served as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Forest Avenue Capital Management LP, an early stage equity long-short hedge fund. Prior to this, Bryan spent two years practicing with Lowenstein Sandler LLP’s Transactions & Advisory Group, during which time he advised clients (including Jadian) on bespoke real estate and traditional private equity joint ventures, recapitalizations, and M&A and financing transactions. Prior to Lowenstein, Bryan served as Deputy General Counsel of Fir Tree Partners, a multi-strategy investment manager with investments in global long-short equity, real estate and other private investment strategies. In this role over nearly five years, Bryan gained valuable experience managing legal and compliance matters for diverse public and private investment strategies including real estate private equity, energy transition, E&P, and cross border financing transactions. Bryan began his career as an Associate in the capital markets and debt finance practices of Latham & Watkins LLP and Ropes & Gray LLP. Bryan received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A in Political Science from Williams College.
