Andrew Fredman*


IngleSea Capital is Andrew’s family office investment vehicle and is a Strategic Partner of Jadian. Andrew is a member of the Fund’s Investment Advisory Committee.  From 2000 through 2015, Andrew was a Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Fir Tree Partners, where he managed the investment team and the portfolios of the Fir Tree funds.  He also co-founded Fir Tree’s capital opportunity funds and, alongside Jim Walker, Fir Tree's real estate opportunity funds, which significantly outperformed their targeted returns during his tenure.  Andrew is a proven innovator and oversaw Fir Tree’s residential mortgage investment platform, which generated multi-billion dollar profits for Fir Tree’s partners.  Andrew is deeply experienced in diverse value and activist strategies, including real estate, corporate debt and equity, restructurings, distressed sovereign credits, structured products and capital structure arbitrage.  Prior to joining Fir Tree, Andrew was a Managing Director at Everest Capital, a Portfolio Manager for Associated Capital and a founding member of Banque Paribas’ proprietary Equity and High Yield Arbitrage Group.  Andrew received a B.A. in Economics from Tulane University and a M.B.A. from Columbia University.
